Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together Challenge: Two Ways

I’m so happy to be posting this fun planner layout today! A few weeks ago, my friend Ashley, asked if I would be up for the challenge to each use the same set, but showcase it each in our own way. Even with my busy schedule (I’m currently getting ready to move!), I knew this was something I wanted to do and I had set aside some time to complete this.

I’ve been behind (understatement) in decorating my memory planner and so I knew right away that I wanted to use the stamp set in my The Happy Planner.

The weekly layout came together really quickly using some washi tape from the Michael’s Recollection line as well as using The Happy Planner sticker pad. The longest time was spent on the layout was colouring the images.

The colour scheme for this layout just happens to be one of my favorite holiday colour schemes! This washi is perfect.  december-planner-thanh-5-lawn-fawn

The last thing I’ll have to do do is print and add my photos and journaling for the week. I’ll post that on my Instagram when the layout is fully completed.

Go head over to Ashley’s blog or Insta to see how she used the stamp set. Here’s a peek of what she did:

Thanks so much for hanging out with me this Monday! All the best. – xo. t.

Ruby’s Bridal Shower Hop

Hello! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve updated the blog, but celebrating our special girl was a must! What a better way to get back into it; throwing an online shower for our beautiful bride, Rubeena Naz Ianigro.

Ruby’s happy day was on September 24th, 2016, but us ladies still want to celebrate: papercraft style. We’ve rounded up a bunch of friends and I hope that you’ll hop along to see all the beautiful creations in honour of Ruby. The hop starts on Amy’s blog and if you’ve been hopping along, you should have come from Rachel’s blog.

Here’s my card for the new couple:

I was inspired by a photo of the bride and groom on their wedding day and used the colours they were wearing for the card. The little side story is that I fell in love with this set after seeing Ruby creating cards with it. I knew that it was the perfect image to create for their card.

For Ruby and her husband: You made a beautiful bride and it makes me so happy to see you two so happy on your big day! Wishing you all the best as you start this new journey together. xo

We’re thrilled to be offering a few prizes:

Mama Elephant $25 Gift Card
Winnie & Walter $30 Gift Card
Kennedy Grace Creations $20 Gift Card

Winners will be selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop!  Commenting will close on Saturday, October 22 at 11:59 pm pacific.  Winners will be posted on Amy’s blog on Sunday, October 23rd.

Your next stop will be Jessica’s blog. Thanks for hopping along with us today!
