I have been avoiding the blog tag for a couple days, but I figured that I should address it now. Thank you SO much to Sherri and Jovi who both tagged my blog as creative inspirations. It is such an honour to be picked by two beautifully talented women.

So why have I been avoiding this post? Well simply because I personally think that these “games” are often used to directly point out elites and play favourites. I am not stating that most or all (or even the two women who tagged me) had these intentions, but through growing up in a cliquey small town and being apart of several blogging and journal communities, that has been my observation. While I do have my own blogs that I check often more than others (normally because they update more often! lol), I cannot pick only five blogs out of all the ones I visit. As you can see, the list is fairly long and continues to grow. The ones I have on my blog roll aren’t even all the ones I visit from my bookmarked list.

So where am I going with this? Simply that I am boycotting the tagging game and that all of you inspire me in your own creative ways. Each person on my blog roll has their own style and creativity that they bring to the paper crafting world and I am so thankful to know each and and everyone of you. Knowing that I can seek inspiration from so many different varieties of styles delights me to no end. So unless any of you object to this, I am not going to post 5 of my fav blogs, but instead want to let you know that I appreciate all your blogs and they continue to inspire me on a daily basis. Thanks once again to Sherri and Jovi for tagging me, I really did feel exhilarated to be picked!

An afterthought: Hmmm… I’ll never be tagged again for anything! lmao. But that’s ok, as long as you all stop by to visit my blog, that is enough love for me. 😉

  1. Hi Thanh-
I just read your post about the tag game and was feeling the same way. Thanks for being bold enough to share your thoughts. I just found your blog, but will be following your updates.

  2. Thanh, I had the same exact thoughts that you did when I first received messages about being tagged and I was really hesitant to list any because of the same feelings that you mentioned in your post. I completely understand you not wanting to alienate any of your peers and I just want to let you know that I think that you’re an amazing lady. ~ Jovi

  3. I agree Thanh! It’s an honor to be tagged but I’m uncomfortable playing along. I hope that doesn’t offend anyone who tagged me and/or those not yet tagged. I love you all!! I guess I need to respond on MY blog too.

  4. AMEN! You are my hero!

No disrespect to the people that “tagged” me either…but unfortunately, I won’t continue the chain on the Luggage blogs either.

  5. Hi Thanh-
OK, this is a different type of tag game and I have chosen you. Check out my blog for the details.

  6. I really don not like tag either! Everyone is creative and inspire me in many ways!

Your work is always jaw dropping gorgeous, Thanh! Thanks for the inspiration!
