Beach Pt. I – Crabby Birthday

This card has been sitting here for awhile now. I think I made this right after I returned from Ontario. I finally got in the summer mood and decided to make something beach-ish. I was wanting this crab from Quickutz for awhile except he was always sold out at PE. But I finally got him, mwhahahaha. I trimmed all the different layers, stamped the sentiment on the cardstock, then ran the layer through the Cuttlebug. Then ran the Stampin around wheel across the brown layer, chalked the background behind the crab to give it a more defined “sand” and “sky” look. Dotted some more sand around the crab…And finally used Glue Dots to adhere the googly eyes.

Supply list: Stampin Up cs, Cuttlebug D’vine Swirl embossing folder, Michaels $1 sentiment stamp, Stampin Up Sand Stampin Around wheel, Quickutz crab, Marvy Uchida giga oval punch, Memories ink.
