Whimsie Wednesday Continued – Asian Inspired Koi

Ahhhh…. sweet Sunday. I’ve actually pre-scheduled this post for today as I promised that I would RELAX as much as possible this weekend. I made no commitments this weekend and hope to enjoy the time to “kick my feet up.” If you know me though, it will most likely be doing a bunch of things I enjoy or have put off for awhile. 😉

To celebrate Chinese (Vietnamese for me) New Years next weekend, I made an Asian inspired card for the Whimsie Wednesday Challenge that I’m hosting this week. Although this card has a lot of black and white, I think that they bring out the red and make it the main focus. What do you think? I hope so because the challenge is to use RED. lol

Here’s a close up of the Koi. I used a white gel pen and glitter pen to give the fish some shimmer.

This card uses Mercy’s Sketch 59 as seen below:

Hope you are all having a great weekend. Thanks for taking the time go visit me today. 🙂
