Amber Ink – I Carried the Torch (Farewell and Welcome!)

Happy Friday, friends!!!

I have TWO really exciting posts for today so I hope that you will read both. *big cheesy grin* LOL!

Well… I’m sad that the day is here that I have to pass my Amber Ink Torch on, but happy that I get to pass the Torch on to my friend,
Joni Wilson!! I met Joni while working on the Whimsie Doodles Design Team and we still work together on Raise the Bar. You may also know her as the owner of Inktegrity. She’s got some fierce talent for the arts and crafts so I know that she will conjure up some fantastic creations with Amber Ink.

Big thanks to Nicole, who passed the torch on to me and of course to Amber and Pam who were fantastic to work for! I am and will be ever so grateful for your smiles, support and

For my last project (as a Torchbearer), I got the inspiration from one of my first creations with Amber Ink – a card I made with the New Girl image that can be seen here. I missed playing in the 21 Day Book Challenge over at the Amber Ink Challenge Blog, so I figured I would retroactively participate! lol

Wouldn’t the card and the corner bookmark be perfect for your little darling going to school?! While I don’t have any little ones of my own yet, I plan to keep this around for my friend’s little one. Or heck, I might use the bookmark myself. lol!

Yes, that’s Harry Potter!

Please give the rest of the August Torchbearers some love at their blogs:
Lisa Coe
Lynne Phelps
Tanis Palmer
Wendy Price

Also join me in welcoming all the new September Torchbearers by visiting the Amber Ink Blog!

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out my other post today; the Raise the Bar Challenge of the week.

Supplies:
Stamps – New Girl (Amber Ink)
Paper – K and Co, Stampin Up
Accessories – Copic markers, Nestabilities & Borderabilities (Spellbinders), doily lace punch (Martha Stewart), pearls (Kaiser), ribbon (unknown)

  5. Love the bookmark! You have such a gift for color, patterns and layers! I am going to have to try some of these corner ones, they look like fun! One question – I worry about 3D elements like pearls leaving an impression on the pages. Do you have any problems with that? I am not sure how flat I would need to keep the embellies for one of these! LOVELY!
