RTB59 – Boarding Pass and SCRS Helps Japan!

Konnichiha friends!! (Hello in Japanese)

No, we all know that I’m not Japanese descent, but this week at Raise the Bar – we are calling for Worldly inspiration: create a project based on a country.

One of my new design team members, Jan, posted a Japanese inspired card and it got me thinking that I should show my support as well.

Think that Rin is just the most adorable Japanese image?! You can get her too for only $5 for the rest of the month. To help with the disaster relief, Sparkle is putting all the Rins on sale for $5 and she will also donate $5 for each Rin sold! (Click on the image below to take you right to the website)

Did you recognize the sketch for the layout of the card? I used this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch #183 as seen below:

I’d like to take the time to welcome two new members to our Raise the Bar Team, Jan and Wanda – please take the time to give them some love. 😀

Hope to seeing you play along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB59 for your keywords.

  1. What a great idea to help out … Awesome card Thanh!

  2. Thanh, I love your vivid colors you chose for this beautiful card! I will need to check out this link…such a big need in Japan right now!

  3. Thanh,
Another adorable card! I loved the images so much (and the idea of proceeds going to help Japan) that I immediately went to Sparkle Creations and bought both Rin stamps! This was right after we met at the birthday party but, I didn’t get around to commenting and following your blog now.
Hope you had a wonderful Easter long weekend!

    Cheers,
    Naomi

  4. I am in love with this one!
