RTB124 – Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Happy Friday, friends!!!

How’s your week been so far? Are you making a list, checkin’ it twice, making sure you don’t miss anyone on it? 😉

I just finished up another busy week to what seems to be the norm in my life right now, ha! Don’t worry; a lot of fun will be had this weekend as the Beau and I have a weekend of visiting with friends and going to see The Nutcracker! We’ve never been so this will sure be something special this year.
I’m so excited to be sharing the last Raise the Bar Challenge of the year with you! The Bar-tenders will be taking a break until January 4th so you have lots of time to play along with us. This week’s theme is let it snow!

One of my best friend’s and I decided that we would make something for each other in exchange of a Christmas gift this year and so I made her this paper wreath (modelled after the wreath I made in Cari Locken’s class):

In the photo above, I placed the wreath on my tree and the lights gave it a ‘golden glow.’

A close up and the true colours

The wreath in whole again in regular light.
Some things I learned while making this project:
  • Rosettes (medallions) are time consuming, but so worth the ‘wow’ factor.
  • You really should lay a protective sheet down before using spray adhesive (iPhone, lap top mouse, and desk were covered)
  • As much as I love glitter, we are not friends and likely never will be LOL
Hope to see you playing along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB124 as your keywords.

Have a fabulous weekend and I will catch up with you next week!

  1. Ahhhh, you little smarty pants! What a great idea! It’s so fun and whimsical, may put that on my list for next year! I hear ya about glitter, so pretty, but such a pain! lol!

  2. I knew you were going to make something fabulous when I saw all of the rosettes yesterday…very pretty!!!
I have to be honest…I’ve learned to love glitter over the past couple of years…the more the better!!!
