Part Two: 2014 Goals in Review

Welcome back to Part Two! If you’re new here or missed out on the beginning of my goal setting journey, here are my other posts so far:

  1. Start Now
  2. One Word: Grow
  3. Part One: 2014 Goals in Review

There may be questions of why I’m sharing goals with you, yes? I’m a very transparent person and most of friends will tell you that I wear my heart on my sleeve. I’m a huge fan of cheering people on! I think that a lot of people share more similarities then they care to admit and I hope that by sharing my goals, I might inspire you to make and share your own. The only person that can execute my goals is me, but I love having people by my side (or in the least, a computer screen away) helping me.

Jumping right into it, here is the second half of my goals from 2014:

15. Continue with my marketing certificate
Due to my new investment (the wedding!), this is being put on the backburner for now. I’ve been learning quite a bit via online reading and participating in discussions via blogs about business branding and marketing so I’m pretty content with my knowledge of this topic for now

16. Try a new thrilling activity (rock wall climbing, ziplining, bungee jumping, etc)
Hmm… there’s always 2015!

17. Complete a pocket style scrapbook/mini album
I have so much Project Life and other pocket scrapbook items that I just need to start now! Will. Start. Now.

18. Attend 5 concerts/shows
Hmm… I went to Katy Perry in 2014! But due to goal #5, we put this on the backburner.

19. Watch more movies
We did watch quite a few and a couple of my favourites were The Book of Life and The Grand Budapest Hotel

20. Make more lists
This keeps me organized and I’m able to prioritize what needs to get done. Something I plan to continue for life.

21.Call my parents more
My parents live out of town and luckily they both have smartphones now. They’ve both gotten the hang of texting and when our schedules don’t match up, texts are good enough until the next phone call.

22. Submit projects for publication
I want to get submit new projects for publication, but with taking on the DT Coordinator position for Your Next Stamp, my focus shifted to my team.

23. Plan six fun date nights

24. Hold six card making classes
I held five – so close!

25. Design and have several stamp sets made to share
I wasn’t ready in 2014, but I am actively planning this for later this year.

26 Learn how to use a DSLR camera
I bought an iPhone 5S in February and yes, I’m one of those people. I take all my photographs with my iPhone and I’m pretty content with the outcome. I definitely appreciate good photography and the skills required to take great photographs so I will try to include this in my 2015 goals as well.

27. Volunteer my time
While I did do some volunteering, I could have done more.

28. Use social media more
I’ve honestly struggled with how much I want to/should share, but now I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with all the different mediums. I’m going to continue using social media as part of growing this year.

Tomorrow’s the big day where I’ll be sharing my 2015 goals with you! See you then.
