Reverse Confetti 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

Hi! I am SO excited to be joining in on the fun over at Reverse Confetti as they celebrate turning three years old! There have been loads of inspiration from the Design Team and ‘Fetti friends so make sure you head on over to the RC Blog to see all the amazing projects that have been shared.

I seriously swooned when I saw the AMAZING birthday themed sets being released today! I am always seeking new and fun birthday images as those are the type of cards I send out most and need variation every year. The products I’m featuring today are: Boxes ‘N Balloons, Celebrations and the Boxes ‘N Balloons dies.

I started by continuously sponging ink on to the white base with a cloud mask and then stamped and die cut the balloons and ribbons. I then played with the balloon cuts to see how where I would end up placing them and drew the balloon strings with a black pen. I added the sequins after to add more dimension to the card.

For my second card, I started by stamping the confetti with black ink onto the white base and then stamped/die cut my balloons and sentiment. I then tied the balloons with white twine and adhered them with adhesive. I added foam adhesive on the layered balloons to add depth. I also used a white gel pen to add in the highlights on the balloons and thought that added the extra pop!

Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop | Plan to Be Fit Planner Stamps

Hello! Remember when I stepped down from being the Design Team Coordinator for Your Next Stamp and I said I wouldn’t be going far? Well, I’m happy to be back joining the Design Team and showcasing the newest planner set! That’s right – YNS has started making stamp sets perfect for all planner peeps. The set I’ll be showcasing today is called Plan to be Fit and it’s available in the store now.

The planner you see above is the The Happy Planner Fitness from Me and My Big Ideas. I combine four months of my 12 month Happy Planner and the Fitness Planner together and use the mini discs to bind them. This new fitness set is PERFECT for those working towards your goals of living a healthier lifestyle and I know the stamp set will help me have fun while planning my goals!

What I did above was that I stamped some of the images on label paper and then coloured them with my Copic markers and stuck them in my planner pages.

I had a great March with the exception of an injury I sustained at the beginning of the month and the Easter Holiday! The other Your Next Stamp sets I used in my planner pages are: Scribbled Alpha and Happy Day Sentiments

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Winner

Just dropping in to announce that the winner of my blog candy is…

Love the 3×3’s. Think I saw some already today. Wish I had a Coffee Crisp since I’ve never had one. I’ll take a piece of almond flavored pound cake with my cuppa.
