Sweet Stamp Shop Coffee Town Ombre Title1 Thanh

Coffeeloversbloghop

Hellooo and welcome to my edition of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I made a handful of cute little 3×3 cards to showcase on the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog and I decided to feature a super step-by-step tutorial of Copic ombré how-to here. You’ll definitely want to stop by the Sweet blog as there’s a giveaway there and don’t forget to leave a comment down below as well — you’ll be entered to win some goodies from me, too!

Jumping right into it, I absolutely LOVE sentiment stamps and alphabets that our outlined so that I can leave them as is or color them in! I know, I know — ombré is probably on its way out of the fashion trend, but I still love it in papercrafts! The best way to create this effect is to use the feather technique with Copic pens.

For my card, I used the following Copic colors: E000 | E21 | E23 | E25 | E29

I’m one of those that colors from dark to light and I truly think that it’s the best way to create the ombré effect. I always lay down my darkest color and then flick/feather in my lighter colors after. Excuse  my messy markers; it’s been a long time since I’ve given them a cleaning!

Adding in some extra sweet: I truly think that every coffee lover needs this Cuppa Coffee in their stash so I’m giving away the stamp set and throwing in some Coffee Crisp and Aero chocolates into the package for good measure! Coffee Crisp is a Canadian exclusive and is one of my faves!

Leave me a comment telling me what’s your favorite snack with coffee for your chance to WIN.

Your Next Stamp | Saying Farewell

YNS Rainbows Happiness Waddles Penguin Thanh Today I’m saying farewell to a company that has been near and dear to my heart! My first gig with Your Next Stamp was back in July 2012 as a guest designer and I joined the team as a regular designer starting in January 2013. For the last couple of years, I’ve had the pleasure of being the Design Team Coordinator. I’ve learned so much and have designed so many different projects! I love Karen’s images for their whimsical nature and they are always a great match for my bright and bold style.

Here’s a round up of my favourite cards over the past few years.

Your Next Stamp Design Team Dare | Coffee is the Boss – Valentine Card

It’s one of my favourite days of the month! Today happens to be the day where I give the Your Next Stamp Design Team a dare and they take the challenge. This month’s challenge is themed painting the town RED. Use the colour red as the main focus of the project. I was very happy that I was able to set aside some time to play along this month; I used the new Coffee is the Boss and Stripetastic Heart die for my card:
